Plan Your Trip
Everything you need to know before your Royal Gorge adventure.
When to Visit
Rafting season runs from April 15 through October 15, with peak whitewater in June when the snowmelt is highest.
Zipline and helicopter tours run year-round, weather permitting.
Summer highs are 85-95 degrees F. Mornings can be cool (50-60 degrees F), so layers are recommended for early trips.
July and August are the busiest months. For smaller crowds, consider May, early June, or September.
